Step 1: Set Up Canvas

  1. Click canvas size dropdown
  2. Select YouTube Thumbnail (1280x720) for a 16:9 aspect ratio

Step 2: Create Background

  1. Scene tab → Background Mode: Solid Color
  2. Set color: #0f172a (deep navy)

A clean dark background keeps focus on the content and lets decorative elements stand out.

Step 3: Add Corner Bracket Decorations

Create L-shaped brackets at each corner of the canvas using lines:

  1. For each corner, create two lines meeting at a right angle
  2. Properties:
    • Stroke Color: #334155 (subtle slate)
    • Stroke Width: 1.5
    • Stroke Cap: round
  3. Position brackets 40px from each edge, with 80px arm length
  4. Stagger each corner’s appearance by 0.08 seconds for a sequential reveal

These corner brackets frame the slide and add a polished, professional look.

Step 4: Add Left Edge Accent

  1. Create a vertical line along the left edge
  2. Properties:
    • From: (40, 200) to (40, 520)
    • Stroke Color: #3b82f6 (blue accent)
    • Stroke Width: 2
  3. Keyframes:
    • 0s–0.4s: Hidden (opacity 0)
    • 0.9s: Opacity 0.6 — Easing: Ease Out

Step 5: Add Title

  1. Press T
  2. Type your presentation title (e.g., “Q4 Business Review”)
  3. Properties:
    • Font Size: 72
    • Font Color: #f8fafc (near-white)
  4. Keyframes — slide in from left:
    • 0s: Opacity 0, X offset -60px from center
    • 0.7s: Opacity 1, X at center — Easing: Ease Out

Step 6: Add Divider Line

  1. Create a thin rectangle between title and subtitle
  2. Properties:
    • Width: 300, Height: 3
    • Color: #3b82f6 (blue accent)
  3. Keyframes:
    • 0s–0.5s: Hidden (opacity 0)
    • 1.0s: Opacity 1 — Easing: Ease Out

Step 7: Add Subtitle

  1. Press T
  2. Type your subtitle (e.g., “Annual Performance & Growth Strategy”)
  3. Properties:
    • Font Size: 28
    • Font Color: #94a3b8 (muted gray)
  4. Keyframes:
    • 0s–0.8s: Hidden (opacity 0, Y +20px offset)
    • 1.4s: Opacity 1, Y at final position — Easing: Ease Out

Step 8: Add Bullet Points

Create 3 text items for your key metrics or talking points:

  1. Press T for each bullet
  2. Use arrow prefix: “→ Revenue grew 34% year-over-year”
  3. Properties:
    • Font Size: 22
    • Font Color: #cbd5e1
    • Alignment: Left
  4. Stagger each bullet’s appearance by 0.2 seconds:
    • Bullet 1: appears at 1.2s–1.6s
    • Bullet 2: appears at 1.4s–1.8s
    • Bullet 3: appears at 1.6s–2.0s

Each bullet slides slightly from left (x offset -20px) while fading in.

Step 9: Preview & Export

  1. Press Space to preview
  2. Check the sequence: corners appear → title slides in → divider fades → subtitle rises → bullets stagger
  3. Export as MP4 or WebM (5 seconds, 30 fps)
